It's been a volitile week for those involved with ECW. Let's get right to it.
-Backlash was this past Sunday and it saw the crowning of a new ECW Hardcore champion. Ken Kennedy, with help from his friend CM Punk pulled out the victory over Matt Hardy and Tommy Dreamer. When asked about how he won the title, Kennedy said...
"It doesn't matter how the belt was won. All that matters is that the title is around the waist of the greatest athelete in ECW....MISSSSTERRRRR....KEENNNNNNNEDYYYYY!!!
Matt Hardy declined to comment but our sources have heard that he's planning something special for Kennedy in the coming weeks.
-Backlash also saw the fall of the ECW Champion, Raven. Pitted in a unification match Raven as well as Chris Jericho, fell to Triple H Who became the new unified Champion.
-To make matters worse for the former ECW champion, Tuesday night Raven found out that Paul Heyman had cut a deal to bring Rob Van Dam back to ECW. Along with Van Dam came the Television title. An irate Raven soon found out why RVD is Mr. PPV. Raven vows he has a plan, something that will bring about the downfall and departure of RVD from ECW. We can't wait to find out what Raven has in mind.
-The Insiders have arrived in ECW! After the shocking results of Monday Night Raw that saw Striker's Classroom and NextGen side with the Chairman, Vince McMahon weaseled his way into ECW. McMahon's master plan involved the recruiting of James Mitchell's Ministry who promply took out WWE Chief Paul Heyman and Tommy Dreamer. Vince then took over the show and put the Tag Champs in a three way elimination tag match for the World Tag Team Titles. This match included Smackdown!'s British Lions who walked away with the tag straps after defeating Both the FBI and Ken Kennedy and CM Punk. With the backing of The Big Show and Umaga, as well as a rumored 'third' member joining the Ministry, it looks like ECW is going to have a battle on their hands.
